The demand for PC has risen from one PC per family to one PC per person. Work from home and online classes have been the major contributors to this fact.
With PCs and laptops now being more a consumer product than anything else, the sales have grown rapidly during the last few years and are ever-growing. With sales increasing, the demand for repair and services has also grown over time.
In a recent interview, the CMO of Justdial, Mr Prasun Kumar revealed that one-third of all repair-related searches on Justdial is for Desktop & Laptop repairing, even in the tier-2 and tier-3 cities of India.
Another important factor to consider is that sales can be online, but repair just can’t be online. Hence, India needs technicians who can repair these desktops and laptops and this demand is growing across all cities of India.
